Resumen
Power technologies used to govern the Mexican immigrant population. One of this article’s goal “Power technologies used to govern the Mexican immigrant population”, is to show the different games of power and the economical interests as well as the different States involved in the immigration of Mexican citizens towards the United States. Another goal is to use the conception of Population state proposed by Michel Foucault, as well as his complementary ideas of bio-politics, bio-power, pastoral power and state of government. The information about the mismanagement of the Catholic Church in this phenomenon stands out, KEY WORDS: Population State, Mexican-American immigration, Catholic Church, politics as a form of war, Michel Foucault.

Abstract
What will happen with the Mexican immigrant children in the United States? In this article I analyze the presence or lack of perspectives of the social and economical mobility that a great amount of the recent Mexican immigrantÂ’s children will face within the American context. On one hand, I construct the analysis from an occupational profile study of the immigrants and the recent evolution of the wage structure in that country and on the other side, the school environment and how it affects the fulfillment of their children in the American schools and their implications for their future work incorporation, taking into account the polarizing impact of the economical and industrial restructuring that the labour market has produced more and more divided. KEY WORDS: Immigrant children, labour segmentation, school segregation, second generation, social mobility.
